Networking: Tools
There are plenty of resources to support
your networking journey:
Using Social Media
Wisely
■
Make sure your social media
reflects your professional brand.
Use high-quality photos, and make
sure your profile is free of typos.
■
Your LinkedIn and Career Launch
profiles are important, but
employers may search for you
on other social media platforms.
Adjust privacy settings for
personal accounts to make sure
that employers only see what you
want them to see.
■
Engage with your network. Like,
comment, and share posts.
■
Respond in a timely manner.
Respect others’ time by answering
messages within twenty-four
hours.
