There are a wide variety of interview types. Your interview may
take place:

Behavioral Interview Questions
Behavioral interviews use past experiences to see whether
you would be a good fit for the position. They are best
answered using the STAR method (outlined on page 26).
Behavioral interview questions include:

something unexpected? How did you handle it?

Tell me about a time you had to cooperate with a team
to achieve a goal.

What has been your biggest professional challenge
to date, and how did you overcome it?

Give me an example of a time you had to compromise

Common Interview Question Types
There are three main interview question types: traditional,
behavioral, and case. An interview may stick to one structure,
or it could include a combination of question types.
Traditional Interview Questions
Traditional interview questions are open-ended. They
allow interviewers to get to know you, your skills, and
your goals. Traditional interview questions include:

are based around certain skills. You may be asked to
demonstrate a technical competency or simply showcase your analytical capabilities. Case interviews usually
involve completing tasks, such as:

While completing a task on the spot may be a little
intimidating, don’t panic. Slow down, ask clarifying
questions, and answer as specifically as possible.

Prepare answers that highlight your interests and
qualifications, with a focus on the job description. Avoid
disparaging the company, belittling the position, or
implying that you are only looking for short-term work.
